Volunteer

The Friends of Coal Auto Fair is a major undertaking - one that could not be done without our volunteers!  We need people to work in a variety of different segments to make this event a reality.  From pre-event set-up to ticket sales to merchandising to concessions and a whole lot more, we need volunteers eager, ready and willing to work anywhere within the show grounds for the duration of the auto fair.  Volunteers excited about being part of a huge team effort are a must!

In return for volunteering, you will receive access to the event, an official event volunteer t-shirt, and meal tickets to cover lunch and dinner each day.  More than anything else, you will come out of the Friends of Coal Auto Fair with a great sense of fulfillment, because you gave back to your community by giving your time to a show that helps support our local Y's work with kids here in southern West Virginia.

Pre-event set-up begins on Monday, July 15, 2013 and will continue on July 16, 17 and 18. Volunteers should plan to arrive early those mornings.  For more information on pre-event set-up, please e-mail daniel.vass@ymcaswv.com.  Day of show volunteers should plan to work July 19-21 during our regular hours of operation. For more information, e-mail joe@brccc.com.
